Ratings & Reviews

  1. FISCHER's rating of the film The Devil's Tricks

Premier long métrage, brouillon et chaleureux, talentueux et disparate... www.cinefiches.com

  2. José Neves's rating of the film The Devil's Tricks

35mm. What a family of influences is conjugated: Demy's "Lola" (Thénier is a wonderful variation of Aimée in that film), Varda's "Le Bonheur" (from where Jean-Claude Drouot comes and in which Vecchiali participated as actor), the Godard's with Karina. That is, as Vecchiali said, a modern spirit right in the heart of a romanesque of the thirties, Renoir and Grémillon especially. A beautiful personalized fluctuation.
