"My heart is full. MY HEART IS FULL"

  2. FISCHER's rating of the film The Effect of Gamma Rays on Man-in-the-Moon Marigolds

  3. Mihai Cristea's rating of the film The Effect of Gamma Rays on Man-in-the-Moon Marigolds

**** for the play @ Metropolis, Oana Pellea is top notch.

  5. MarianneRenoir's rating of the film The Effect of Gamma Rays on Man-in-the-Moon Marigolds

Judith Lowry (Nanny) is my favorite character.

  6. El Biffo's rating of the film The Effect of Gamma Rays on Man-in-the-Moon Marigolds

Fabulous performance by Joanne Woodward, and the girls, too. The characters they play are complex, like real people are. Why can't they make films like this anymore in America? Even the best of today's dramas seem to have much simpler characters and rely on other devices to carry the film.

  7. DK's rating of the film The Effect of Gamma Rays on Man-in-the-Moon Marigolds

An extra star for the performances as well as the atmosphere--desolate, 1970s, derelict-suburban--though it doesn't quite hold together perfectly in terms of narrative (the end is a bit rushed, character arcs begin to sag). It does pack some emotionally devastating punches in the latter half, however. Woodward is great as the wigged out, narcissistic mama. But Newman daughter Nell will make your heart ache.

  8. Kristen Livera's rating of the film The Effect of Gamma Rays on Man-in-the-Moon Marigolds

Modest and rejuvenating speech that reminds you where you come from. Propagated me return to science and the body, a project on grafting.

  9. Th MZA's rating of the film The Effect of Gamma Rays on Man-in-the-Moon Marigolds

Not very cinematic, but loaded with unlikely charm and funny lines, a real actor's movie. Nell Newman is ideal as the smart, asocial daughter -- amateur, the way all child actors should be. I wanted to pay her college tuition and lay waste to her enemies; anyone who comes away from this not feeling that way should not spawn. Woodward is almost too appealing. What would this movie be like with an uglier actress?
