A television film about the construction of 'event' television and how television can be used to powerfully affecting ends. There is an extraordinary scene in which La Paglia's Hurwitz discusses the need for education against fascism with Justin Salinger's David Arad; this is a scene that is charged with insinuation. The seamless use of actual footage from the original broadcast of the trial is enthralling.
