I loved the vibe more than anything. There were several tense and dramatic buildups, but no real payoff. Bleak, without being overbearing... loved the soundtrack.
The attempt at sparse cinema wasn't a failed one, but I didn't think it was really done with excellence either. Too many parts of this became boring to me, which is the risk of making a sparse film. Comparisons to Tarkovsky are exaggerations.
