Where can I see this?
Maybe Bela Tarr didn't watch this, but the similarities between this and The Turin Horse are hard to ignore. An incredible film, maybe the greatest film i've ever seen.
Beautifully observed, but a little too monotonous, I felt.
As well as being a beautifully observed film the editing was amazing, almost yet not quite jump cuts. Shots never last long and time jumps ahead quickly, however everything seems so calm and cohesively whole.
A bittersweet depiction of love at old age. I thought it would be "monotonous" but some wonderful images especially the close-ups have made this film a gem. :)
