  • SpacePirate's rating of the film The Fallen Sparrow

A fine proto-noir thats got a plot as confusing and complex as The Big Sleep. Garfield gives a fine performance as the tortured escapee, one of his best performances in my eyes, up there with Gentlemans Agreement and Postman Always Rings Twice. O'Hara plays a decidedly unique character for her career, she didnt really do roles like this often, or simply wasnt offered them. On the whole, a cool little film. 3.5 stars
