Ratings & Reviews

  1. FISCHER's rating of the film The Fate of Lee Khan

  2. Paolo Simeone's rating of the film The Fate of Lee Khan

A superb stage play when indoor ends up in a bloody tragic battle when outdoor. The fight between Hsu Feng, Angela Mao and Helen Ma lasts unfortunately few instants, so that it almost looks unreal. Maybe I dreamed about it.

  3. waywardwaters's rating of the film The Fate of Lee Khan

King Hu plays the audience adeptly with humor and suspense in this actively colorful diptych of comedy and tragedy. Despite disreputation, Lee Khan actually appears sympathetic as not only a hospitable and merciful people’s ruler but also a man of notable culture while rather it is the Han conspirators who are subhuman lowlifes, the implication being: there is nothing noble about a clandestine act of coup d’etat.

  4. ExperimentoFilm's rating of the film The Fate of Lee Khan

All kung fu fights should ideally finish with a blast of Messiaen.

  5. Yongjia Li's rating of the film The Fate of Lee Khan

    无风理擦汗,秋波万人迷。休怨别离曲,将息迎春阁
