    I just watched this film. Bedrich Batka's sophisticated cinematography is the hero of this work (the same cinematographer that shot "Marketa Lazarová"). As for the story line.... it was pretty weak. It's as if the story structure drifted off with the whimsy of the camera work. Maybe I need to see it again to really "get" it. Anyway, it's a worthwhile film just for the cinematography.
