  • Daniel S.'s rating of the film The Golden Touch

One of Mauro Bolognini's first efforts. Based on a play written before WWI, the plot seems a little bit dated nowadays. So let's focus on the production design, already superb, on Richard Basehart in his Italian period (according to me, he's the only actor who played in a Samuel Fuller and a Fellini movie in his career) and finally on Mario Girotti who'll become Terence Hill a decade later. Already forgotten.
