    If not quite nostalgie de la boue, then a variant; a stalwart of afternoon television in Britain, specifically as an antidote to sport ‘on the other side’ [only 3 then 4 channels in the 1980s - not the handicap that might seem]. The film itself: Then a bouncy entry in this patchy series. Now? Much the same except the lack of taste in spoofing a recent crime that killed a man. Perhaps boue is closer to the mark.
