A forgettable screwball comedy. Alastair Sims is great in this! I'll give it 2.5 stars, not quite three star material, though the premise is good and it could have easily been a very good film with a little more thought put in to the script.
Alastair Sim really is almost everything that is wonderful about this black comedy. When he's not around, it's a silly and forgettable farce. When he is, it's a delight. One of his finest ever performances.
