  • Z's rating of the film The Harvest

Watched this at 3 am on HBO when I should have gone to sleep hours before. It's the sort of small, trashy thriller that works best in the hours just before dawn when you have nothing better to do. Miguel Ferrer brings great, sweaty, desperate intensity to his role. Ferrer and Leilani Sarelle strike sparks and their chemistry is palpable. Not a work of art, but does manage to titillate and entertain.
