Ratings & Reviews

  1. Nick Schwab's rating of the film The House At The End Of Time

A high-end horror story that's well executed in its early scares and is as heartening afterwords as it's poignant. Before The Babadook, and utilizing that film's shakily-done narrative mystery and thematic similarities much less archetypally and more seamlessly in its balance of horror and family drama elements, this Venezuelan film will mend your broken heart, after making it scared enough to jump out of your chest.

  2. msmichel's rating of the film The House At The End Of Time

Fantasia '14 Pretty good thriller in a 'Twilight Zone' vein that finds time an intangible element in a long standing haunting. Never quite scary but unsettling in the early going before it runs out of ideas.
