My four-year-old love this nontraditional drawn movie. It's about a flooded world where and old man lives in the last house standing where he revisits his memories underwater. It doesn't give any answers to how the world turned up like it did but instead show us a tapestry of feelings and sentimental moments. It has a unique atmosphere and works good for both old and young viewers.
A fantastic short, I'm impress with what they were able to cram in just 11 mins. Masterful execution too, especially the brilliant poetic visual metaphor as he descends down further and further into the water, room by room as he longingly reflects upon his past and his most precious memories . Also the art style is absolutely amazing. So warm, serene and nostalgic- i am enamored with it.
Even though it feels like yet another creative short film on the one hand, it can't be denied it fulfills its destiny well. Wonderfully nostalgic, with a befitting style constituting of cute drawing and heartwarming music. It's adorably creative in the way it carries its emotional theme. Worth your while!
