  1. Fabio Nosotti's rating of the film The House on the Edge of the Park

  2. Benji Carver's rating of the film The House on the Edge of the Park

Sick, twisted, and uncensored 70s home invasion thriller only the Italians and David Hess do it best.

  3. Pymo's rating of the film The House on the Edge of the Park

    Can't escape from this game...

  4. saptarshi's rating of the film The House on the Edge of the Park

has moments of weirdness but the undisguised rank misogyny confusedly coupled with the class politics of a working class anti-hero is detestable.

  5. Konrad Szlendak's rating of the film The House on the Edge of the Park

Rape'n'revenge gone static and weird in this cult exploitation flick by Deodato. To really pull it through you need to be a fan of drive-in cinema. A lot of nudity with a touch of violence and good acting by David Hess, well-remembered form "The Last House on The Left".

  6. Joseph Wallace's rating of the film The House on the Edge of the Park

This movie takes me back to before I was born, and leaves me there

  7. JFPISSIAS's rating of the film The House on the Edge of the Park

We can find similar referral acknowledgements between Michael Haneke's "Funny Games" taken from this film.

  8. Noeru Sensae's rating of the film The House on the Edge of the Park

  9. Matthew_Lucas's rating of the film The House on the Edge of the Park

One of more obscure films in the rape exploitation genre that tried to capitalize on the popularity of LAST HOUSE ON THE LEFT is more degrading than entertaining. As an exploitation film its obviously more interested in violence and bare flesh, but this one is almost fetishistic in its execution, although it's a clear influence on Michael Haneke's FUNNY GAMES.

  10. Miasma's rating of the film The House on the Edge of the Park

Worth it for the performance of the main straight dude who gets the gun, and for the villain's extended reaction shot to that gun. Also for Riz Ortolani's bizarre and fun scoring.
