What are people saying?

  • T. J. Mesen's rating of the film The Imposter

El Impostor is the consummation and tragedy of the darker side of the idea at core of Ford's TMWSLV; that men rise and fall, and history and nations are shaped by myths. Truth is but a fallacy, a concept to manage power, and in a land full of idealism and potential it seduces even the best of men. This is as much a film about the darkness within the hearts of men, as it is of the history and people of Mexico.
