30 hand picked films. A new one every day
Two parallel stories about characters trapped in illogical endless spaces: two brothers and a detective locked on an infinite staircase, and a family locked on an infinite road – for a very long time.
You had me at mindfuck. I've seen films with similar themes, but not as well developed as this is. I'll probably have to watch those last 10 minutes again, because it went by fairly quickly.
A true masterpiece. Isaac Ezban reminds me of the early Nacho Vigalondo. Perhaps, he is Nacho Vigalondo in a different reality. The Incident is as brilliant as Timecrimes - in a weird way, the two films share several affinities.
Mindfuck is too tame a word, ergodic at best. Proof that concept beats production.
What have I just seen?
A great Twilight Zone-like movie.
