I'm a fan of Nikolaj, so that's why I gave it a try. The chemistry between him and Fares is quite good. The plot is horrendous, and there's too much torture. The problem with the cold case genre is that they tend to tie up everything in a nice little bundle. In real life you don't always solve the case, or even know what happened. This is saying "Don't worry, we do the thinking for you." It's a waste of talent.
Feels like some Danish police TV drama. Nothing wrong with that, overall, but it is a little clichéd and by-the-numbers, given what we've been used to (e.g. The Killing; The Girl With The Dragon tattoo). It doesn't go anywhere you're not expecting.
