A film so astonishingly bad, it'll make you long for the days of "Super Mario Bros." and "Double Dragon." Ray Park as the main villain seems to be channeling Warwick Davis' performance from the "Leperchaun" films. Come on, Ray: you've got to be earning decent royalty checks from "The Phantom Menace." You can't honestly need money this bad.
I'll (force myself to) write a proper review of this on this page another time, but it not only proved that films like Double Dragon had some merit, but also that I've completely lost my patience to sit through boring genre cinema. Why it got made I don't know, and how anyone thought making a film this generic and tedious was acceptable is a mystery on the size of the Bermuda Triangle.
