It's risky to criticize an emotional film such as this since it could get misconstrued as indifference towards the plights depicted. However, like any work of fiction there are weaknesses to the storytelling (which I suspect may be inherited from the book). I'm also deeply troubled by the impact this production has had on the child actors whose lives have been unfairly and irrevocably altered.
Ouch... This's really breathtaking. Touching and inspiring. Can't hardly wait to see another Khaled Hosseini's novel to be a major Motion Picture, A Thousand Splendid Suns. The portrait protagonist character is really truly human, closer to our life in the real world. Gosh, I want to read the novel too !
