Our take

A wacky blend of gory horror and dark comedy, The Last Circus toured in festivals worldwide, winning 3 prizes at the Venice Film Festival (including Best Director and Screenplay). With dizzying images, exploding from all sides, it presents a rich metaphor for the horrific episodes of Spain’s past.
