absolutely beautiful! I was impressed with the script and the performances. I felt like this was a homage to Shirley, who is one of the greatest! And women at her age don't get decent roles very often which is an utter shame. Beautiful!
I thought this was a very sweet movie that took its time developing the proper plot points, from Harriet's medical problems and her poor relationships, to fixing pieces of her life that proved to be barriers. I found the acting among MacLaine and Seyfried to be incredibly well done and creates a very believable connection that is quite upsetting at its conclusion. See this if you like softer films with strong story.
