This movie had a great score, and its "mystical" treatment of the sport was inspiring (at least for me it was, though I could easily see how some could view it as schmaltzy or even pretentious). However, there is a major flaw: all of the golf swings featured in the film are very obviously not the swings of real golfers. Any serenity this film creates is immediately destroyed the second an actors' swing is shown.
if you've read the Bhagavad Gita or know anything about Hindu or Buddhist philosophy, this is an awesome film. Otherwise, some of the lines of dialogue just don't make any sense. Context is everything here.
