Ratings & Reviews

  1. Nick Schwab's rating of the film The Lesson

Despite the misplacement of indie songs in the climax that kills the tension, and some acts being as equally tedious as they are well developed in story, The Lesson is one of the few films of the modern torture genre that is as horrific as it can get without tipping into violence for violence's sake, and contains critiques and criticism of society- even if it's amoral-- as well. The actors are also a strong asset.

  2. Ana Sousa's rating of the film The Lesson

The genius of Robert Hands couldn't save this.
