3.5/5. Pointless, run-of-the-mill upper class woes, endless and underdeveloped side stories that don't aid the development of the main character or his self-discovery whatsoever, and some very, very plain imagery. But oh, what a soap opera! And nothing a baby-faced Dan Stevens can't make perfectly watchable.
Such a nice story, with deep, feeling, characters. Made in such bad miniseries. Nick shows very few emotions, and you don't believe them, while the book's almost all about his feelings. If you liked the novel, don't watch the series.
