Our take

Recruiting Rachel Weisz and Colin Farrell for his English-language debut, the “Greek Weird Wave”’s Yorgos Lanthimos (Dogtooth) delivers a frequently unpredictable, yet measured indictment of couples culture, and a film as peculiar and strange as his previous work. An alluring, ludicrous comedy.
