Mark Garrett's rating of the film The Loneliest Planet

It's obviously a slow film, and the desire to work through its paradoxical density / sparsity (the largeness of the landscape coinciding with that largeness forcing you to exist with two other people on a trip) ends up convincing you that the occasionally fun process of decoding it makes it good. Once decoded though, it feels painfully intentional and retrospectively boring.
