Ratings & Reviews

  1. Blumes's rating of the film The Look of Love

Never go wrong with Coogan and Winterbottom

  2. Thomas Dods's rating of the film The Look of Love

Fun, but unfocused and ultimately forgettable.

  3. smndvdcl's rating of the film The Look of Love

Great shots of Soho, an accurate biopic on Paul Raymond and a fairly adequate dramatic depiction of Britain's Larry Flynt.

  4. Ingrid Aldama's rating of the film The Look of Love

Very britsh. Very glamourous. Steve Coogan is superb; and of course, Imogen Poots is amazing in this.

  5. Michael Zyx MH Claes's rating of the film The Look of Love

  6. msmichel's rating of the film The Look of Love

An unfocused somewhat schizophrenic take on the British Hugh Hefner; Paul Raymond. Never boring but the lack of focus makes the viewer wonder if they're watching a biopic, a satire or a straight comedy while the film doesn't deliver on any of those genres. Coogan plays another version of Coogan (always entertaining) while the rest of the cast flounders in under written characters especially poor Imogen Poots.

  7. flamingo jones's rating of the film The Look of Love

A meandering biopic that fails to address the (very few) interesting aspects of its subject's life. The film also fails to use Steve Coogan's many talents, and almost traps him in its confused narrative.

  9. dianacrisan01's rating of the film The Look of Love

  10. Effendi Ben Smith-Malick's rating of the film The Look of Love

Basically it's the British equivalent of "The People Vs. Larry Flynt" but you don't have to hear a single fucking sound out of Courtney Love's stupid word hole, which is always nice. Am I right, Kurt? *looks to right* Oh my God! KURT! What happened to your face!? Andddddd scene.

  11. Carlos Filipe Freitas's rating of the film The Look of Love

Disappointingly weak considering the calibers of its main actor and director. Full Review: http://alwayswatchgoodmovies.blogspot.com/2013/11/the-look-of-love-2013.html

  13. orangey's rating of the film The Look of Love

well, the beginning has beautiful B & W cinematography, among the best I've seen recently. And Steve Coogan is really good. And Stephan Fry has a really cute performance. And I've gonna pretend like that was the whole movie for Mr Winterbottom's sake

  14. Nelson Núñez's rating of the film The Look of Love

Lo único divertido de esta película fueron las imitaciones de Sean Connery y, sobre todo, la de Marlon Brando en El Último Tango en París que realiza Steve Coogan. De resto poco que destacar, apartando el esmerado diseño de producción.

  15. Stephen Campbell's rating of the film The Look of Love

Coogan is good but the film suffers from being a touch broing

  16. FCC 86's rating of the film The Look of Love

"We are all in the gutter, but some of us are looking at the stars"

  17. Michael Harbour's rating of the film The Look of Love

As tedious as porn. But good production design.

  18. DrSorenson's rating of the film The Look of Love

Without a doubt, the Mother and Daughter have the more interesting story here.
