An unfocused somewhat schizophrenic take on the British Hugh Hefner; Paul Raymond. Never boring but the lack of focus makes the viewer wonder if they're watching a biopic, a satire or a straight comedy while the film doesn't deliver on any of those genres. Coogan plays another version of Coogan (always entertaining) while the rest of the cast flounders in under written characters especially poor Imogen Poots.
Basically it's the British equivalent of "The People Vs. Larry Flynt" but you don't have to hear a single fucking sound out of Courtney Love's stupid word hole, which is always nice. Am I right, Kurt? *looks to right* Oh my God! KURT! What happened to your face!? Andddddd scene.
