Ratings & Reviews

  1. L. Nolan's rating of the film The Lost Continent

    Haunting visuals. Great fun.

  2. ExperimentoFilm's rating of the film The Lost Continent

The lesser known of Hammer's two Dennis Wheatley adaptations from 1968. Probably Carreras' best film as director.

  3. Paul Narvaez's rating of the film The Lost Continent

Hey....it's not great but it's not that bad either.

  4. Christopher R. Smith's rating of the film The Lost Continent

An original story, fun cheesy special effects - and some of the fantasy visuals are extraordinary - but director Michael Carreras' pacing is incredibly awkward: it starts off really slow with a lot of dull character development, then rushes through the last part where all the actual action is. Fun for B-movie fans who can tolerate some slow spots, even if it is a step below Hammer's usual high quality.
