Ratings & Reviews

  1. the_mentaculus's rating of the film The Man Who Could Work Miracles

A moral parable a la The Twilight Zone - highlighting the best and worst of Wells' theology (he gets sole writing credit - making it a curioso célèbre). In a way, its an inverse of Job's famous tale of woe. The script is witty and, in parts, poignant. The nonchalant psychological acceptance of our Average Man's miracle prowess is refreshing, even after a generation's worth of filmmaking.

  2. Howard Fritzson's rating of the film The Man Who Could Work Miracles

This is one of the most enjoyable movies I have ever seen. I love the premise and the acting and the special effects are very witty. It is a light, sweet film. Striking score too by Mischa Spoliansky.

  3. Kai White's rating of the film The Man Who Could Work Miracles

Works much better as a comedy than a social commentary. Unfortunately, it rather stubbornly insists on being the latter.
