so wanted to like this but the only things that worked for me was rolf kristian's larsen's hair ( which matched beautifully with his film wardrobe ), the 80s soundtrack, and the norwegian track "fortapt".
although in the beginning kind of usual teenage cliche (and that conversation facing camera ruined it) but surprisingly slowly developed and create a deep connection with the main actor feels and his struggle. really intimate and end up beautifully. i reckon this one and i love this one
Mixed feelings on this Norwegian 80's period piece. Rolf Kristian Larsen's hair literally stars. I bought it until the 3rd act, where a party scene unveils the leads secret love for all to see, nixed by a caustic rant? Plausible, but hardly in character for the sensitive lead. And the final 10 minutes feel tacked on, with any salvation obliterated by the inexplicable last scene. Book to screen fail?
