Ratings & Reviews

  1. Daniel S.'s rating of the film The Mephisto Waltz

***1/2. Metempsychosis à la mode de LA: Duncan becomes Myles who loves Paula who becomes Roxanne. Bill and Abby won't make it. 'Love, love, love' whispers Paula. 'Swiss are peasants' retorts Bill. Look for the mask of the dog at the masked ball. Jacqueline Bisset is gorgeous. Highly recommended.

  2. Paolo Simeone's rating of the film The Mephisto Waltz

Typical boring esoteric crap from those days, but with an interesting direction.

  3. Wee Hunk's rating of the film The Mephisto Waltz

You have to watch it for Alan Alda. He's always interesting and blustering.

  4. En Sangers Bøn's rating of the film The Mephisto Waltz

A mystery-horror film with a Faustian atmosphere and a rather easy occult tendency. Good actors and an alluring film if not a classic one.

  5. Roscoe's rating of the film The Mephisto Waltz

A tasty story of Rosemary's Baby style horror in a rather dated 70s type package. A leaner and meaner remake would be a lot of fun to see.
