This is the most atrociously edited and scored movie I've ever seen, but Moore is so compelling as a thinker that simply being able to listen to him teach makes the film not only tolerable but vaguely recommendable.
really difficult to rate this. no reason to watch it unless you re sincerely interested in what this man has to say. it would ve been better if this was completely unedited and wrapped up as a single long take. as for Moore I think he s better off than any of us.
Although the way this documentary was put together is appalling, with all it's cheesy "re-enactments" and use of "stock footage", it's still a really interesting dive into the mindscape of one of the greatest living writes, if not one of the greatest writers of all time. It probably would have been better if it had been just one continuous take of Alan Moore talking.
