Ratings & Reviews

  1. FISCHER's rating of the film The Misfortunates

  2. thomisdead's rating of the film The Misfortunates

Is as bittersweet as life. Absolutely lovable.

  3. Michael Zyx MH Claes's rating of the film The Misfortunates

La Merditude des Choses. Un titre pareil, c'est la Belgique : humour et créativité. The Shittiness of Things is the original title. Go for this creative, funny and very good Belgian movie.

  4. Braddis's rating of the film The Misfortunates

Somebody should tell the director that there is other way of shooting than hand-held camera...

  5. msmichel's rating of the film The Misfortunates

Nothing like wallowing in a character's self pity re-examing his life growing up amongst his father and uncles; the town's drunkards and simpletons. Not to say the film is not worth watching. It certainly has its moments.

  6. Strauhs's rating of the film The Misfortunates

  7. EEE333's rating of the film The Misfortunates

It's a good, but incredibly sad and depressing film.. I really don't get why many people describe it as funny. Never seen anything less funny than this. Good portrait of a young boy, who has to grow up surrounded by rural problems, especially alcoholism and its effect on society.

  8. ΞRIC B∆D TASTΞ's rating of the film The Misfortunates

one of the most disgusting movie from this millenium... but also pretty funny, mostly in the beginning, the end was lame. the sense of the story was very great.

  9. Tigrão's rating of the film The Misfortunates

  10. DocNYz's rating of the film The Misfortunates

This is one of the most honest, entertaining and moving films I've seen. It astonishes me that it hasn't had wider distribution. See it if you have a chance!
