Ratings & Reviews

  1. José Neves's rating of the film La noche

Digital. There is a redundancy that is fatal to this movie: its desperate search for despair that generates a formal "everything goes" without nuances or breaths, results in an accumulation (of) effect(s) that annoys and it will not be the sex moments filmed directly that will make me to substantiate a positive appreciation- in this subject compare it with the 1st act of the recent "Theo et Hugo dans le Même Bateau".

  2. Maribou's rating of the film La noche

A grim, unrelenting odyssey following a gay man through Buenos Aires on his quest for sex & escape through a forlorn world of trans sex workers, their clients, cocaine & alcohol. Everyone gets used in pursuit of the next high. The realism is brutal & the pacing excruciatingly slow: sex has never been less erotic; the shirt-shopping scene nearly killed me with boredom. A tough film to sit through but it stays with you

  3. El Biffo's rating of the film La noche

Neo-Realist Queer sex/drugs film is a bit too real to be erotic but too fake/contrived to be a home movie.

  4. Lucas Granero's rating of the film La noche
