What are people saying?

  • Rosina Rossini's rating of the film The Peacock Spring

A teenager caught in the middle of two dominating and harsh patriarchal societies. She learns in the hardest way, how unwelcoming both societies are towards women. Note how her body is claimed as the property of both the male characters, and is never recognized as belonging to her. A really difficult, but rewarding film to watch, with a heartbreaking, but historically accurate message about women's rights.
