A satire on anti-communist paranoia in the days of fascist dictatorship in Portugal. The film follows the adventures of the “Lusitanian superhero”, the ultra-patriotic Captain Falcon, a man who follows the direct orders of António de Oliveira Salazar in the fight against the “red menace”.

My only problem with this film is exactly the same one I had with "Planet Terror". By staying true to the style it is trying to pay tribue to, halfway through the concept loses freshness - the momentum of fighting scenes and the urgency of some of the jokes get lost in bad timing. Apart from that, it's a jewel. A true historical mark in portuguese comedy. I laughed histerically & there weren't even swear words in it.
4 - A well-timed fart can be a genuine example of comedic brilliance; small bursts of farts peppered throughout a drunken night out can bring a whole room to tears of laughter. Fart for 100 minutes straight and you're left clawing at the windows.
