Ratings & Reviews

  1. Andy King's rating of the film The Wonderful, Horrible Life of Leni Riefenstahl

Man, that scene in which Leni Riefenstahl tries to distance herself from her first film not because it was propaganda for Hitler but because it was technically flawed... it was both relatable and incomprehensible.

  2. smndvdcl's rating of the film The Wonderful, Horrible Life of Leni Riefenstahl

Can one truly separate the art from the artist, particularly when the art is so entrenched in history's worst fascist dictatorship that committed unparalleled humanitarian crimes? Apologist, ignorant, oblivious or blindly obedient - impossible to vindicate? Riefenstahl's cinematic quality is unquestionable - the toxic legacy of its semantics, like Griffiths' 'Birth of a Nation' remains.

  3. Samuel Andrade's rating of the film The Wonderful, Horrible Life of Leni Riefenstahl

★★★★ is there such a thing as pure art, or does all art make a political statement?

  4. Carlos González's rating of the film The Wonderful, Horrible Life of Leni Riefenstahl

Also known as "The Wonderful Horrible Life Of Leni Riefenstahl"

  5. Matija's rating of the film The Wonderful, Horrible Life of Leni Riefenstahl
