The Red Mill Directed by Roscoe "Fatty" Arbuckle

What are people saying?

  • SpacePirate's rating of the film The Red Mill

A fun Davies vehicle, directly by Arbuckle under the pseudonym Goodrich. It def has an Arbuckle feel with lots of moments that would feel right at home in an Arbuckle/Keaton two reeler, with ice skating and ladder at the window scenes particularly reminiscent. Leading man Moore is stiff as wood, its no wonder his career tanked with the coming of sound. Good, but Davies would go on to even better things soon. 3 stars
