Ratings & Reviews

  1. FISCHER's rating of the film The Road to Glory

Inoubliable film pacifiste opposant deux conceptions de l'existence contraires.

  2. Irma Vep's rating of the film The Road to Glory

I watched this literally only because I inexplicably think Fredric March is a superbabe (and it certainly did not disappoint on that front) but I ended up being more INTELLECTUALLY fascinated by Warner Baxter. I've only seen him in this and 42nd Street and both times he's played these amazing characters that are twisted, neurotic, and self-loathing in a way that shifts the whole film's center of gravity.

  3. Howard Orr's rating of the film The Road to Glory

Brilliantly directed with Hawks' trademark accent on human warmth and the importance of group professionalism in the face of peril. March in particular is note-oerfect. Underrated and essential.
