Ratings & Reviews

  1. Ethan's rating of the film The Savages

Not to be confused with Oliver Stone's batshit crazy drug film, this film is a very heartfelt drama about no matter how fucked up your family is you still have to take care of them. Philip Seymour Hoffman and Laura Linney are exceptional in this.

  9. randomnessnstuff's rating of the film The Savages

I have to say that I like Hoffman and Linney a lot. I think they did a good job in acting. By the way, this movie makes me think about my grandparents and also my parents .. and .. me .. one day we are going to get old and .. what would happen to us when we're old, besides dying?

  10. Nohea's rating of the film The Savages

very much in the vein of Ozu's, Tokyo Story.

  12. definedivine's rating of the film The Savages

It's a worth watching blackcomedy/drama, which is a bit sleepy in the beginning but it turns pretty darn good in the next stages of movie. Realistic, strong, a bit morbid, but still positive and fulfilling.
