  • kartina obskura's rating of the film The Singing Street

streets are images of repetitiveness like the rolling wheel or walking or opening the store at the same time, drinking coffee during the lunch break in the same cafe for years (when did they pass so fast, how, where). children´s games are based on repetitions. they don´t wonder about it. it is needed. it is wanted. it´s not scary. it´s free of existential void we tend to feel in repetitions and routines later.
