I almost want to slap the writers for turning an intriguing premise into something so unbearably cliche. It had me curious and engaged, but it disappointed big time. And was that horrible final scene really necessary? *cringes* The cinematography and music were decent, however.
Not put together in the best of ways, but still an effective, emotionally evocative story about the suburban demonization of young girls trying to find themselves on their own terms amid a society of media frenzies, gossip across all ages, and social media.
