  7. Joseph Ngo's rating of the film The Sitter

One star for the soundtrack, one star for Sam Rockwell. "Stop staring at me with those gorgeous eyes."

  8. Paulitics's rating of the film The Sitter

Jonah must not stop doing comedy. His timing is second to none.

  9. Rebeca Magnus's rating of the film The Sitter

It has really nice messages when he tries to help the kids. Good comedy. Jonah Hill does a good job.

  10. Greg S.'s rating of the film The Sitter

Nice Surprise. Unfocused and a lot of the humor was easy but even in his goofier movies Green brings some humanity to everything. There's a handful of touching scenes that feel like they belong in a stronger film. Jonah Hill in all seriousness is really unique presence rattling off all kinds of non pc jokes but never at the expense of this underdog quality he has. Passes the nothing on at 2 am test.

  11. Daniel S.'s rating of the film The Sitter

Above-average American comedy which is, for once, not politically correct. Recommended.

  12. PROKOSCH's rating of the film The Sitter

Great example of a shitty movie with poor execution and composition that is at least partially redeemed by Jonah Hill's nervous and annoyed performance; he's the source of at least a dozen seriously funny moments. More Sam Rockwell, or even a film that excises the kids completely and focuses on a weird tangle between Hill and Rockwell, would have brought this up exponentially.

  13. Glim Ho's rating of the film The Sitter

    希尔还是吐槽帝,但是强拉的喜感不搞笑

  14. ΞRIC B∆D TASTΞ's rating of the film The Sitter

not bad, some funny moments - but i prefer the original from 1987 much more. and i like to see Jonah Hill in more intelligent movies...

  15. Agustin Alturria's rating of the film The Sitter

Its sad to find the kid from “Where The Wild Things Are” in this crap

  16. Tyler Aikens's rating of the film The Sitter

Sam Rockwell is the film's only redeeming quality. Oh, and Method Man and his boo. Either way, the script felt rushed and wasn't really funny. Particularly groan-inducing was the man-to-man talk Jonah has with a 13 year old boy about being gay. Only a straight man could write that tripe.

  17. Matthew_Lucas's rating of the film The Sitter

While I wish David Gordon Green would return to directing smart, understated indie dramas, I'll admit he has a strange talent for gloriously inappropriate comedy. His latest effort, THE SITTER, about the world's worst babysitter who takes three kids along with him on a drug run for his girlfriend, is a surprisingly uproarious and agreeably cringe-inducing comedy romp.

  18. Mathias Palmberg's rating of the film The Sitter

Not very good considering the players involved. The best and most outlandish bit was when Noah arrived at Carl's. I mean body builders everywhere! What was the scriptwriter thinking? Still, the scene made me laugh, the rest of the movie did not.

  19. micah van hove's rating of the film The Sitter

As a hardcore DGG fan, this wasn't actually a huge disappointment. Some really funny shit between Jonah Hill & Sam Rockwell. Definitely worth getting high & watching.

  20. Chris McEwen's rating of the film The Sitter

Between Rockwell's performance and the soundtrack, I didn't expect it to feel so much like a David Gordon Green film, but it's still generally listless and unsatisfying.

  21. Joseph Hefner's rating of the film The Sitter

Come on. Even the director admits it's a half-ass attempt at comedy. I think it's time for David Gordon Green to go back to the indie dramas he does so well.

  22. Joseph Sylvers's rating of the film The Sitter

DVG should stop making comedies, they've gotten progressively worse since Pineapple Express, which itself wasn't much. I laughed aloud only once, and I can't remember why.

  23. Robby Justiss's rating of the film The Sitter

Bland, Boring, Badly written characters. Just bad.

  24. Jacob McKinley's rating of the film The Sitter

Why has David Gordon Green just given up?
