  • msmichel's rating of the film The Solid Gold Cadillac

Solid Judy Holliday vehicle that adapted the popular Kaufman/Teichman play to screen. Here Judy takes on the board of directors of a conglomerate after they foolishly give her a job to stop her outbursts at stock holders meetings. Lots of fun with a good supporting turn by Paul Douglas (Angels of the Outfield). Not so far removed from her 'Born Yesterday' character and plays well to type.
