In director Hilary Brougher’s engrossing sci-fi gem, pulp fiction scribe Tucker Harding inexplicably finds herself transported from 1953 to 1997, where she learns that she narrowly escaped being murdered in the 1950s.

I liked this very much right up until when Tucker is actually shot, but after that, all those third act resolution and boring explanations, didn't do it any good. It seemed to me as if Hilary Brougher ran out of ideas after she had Tucker shot.
Still a very enjoyable first half though.
like a lot of those old pulp novels, it doesn't quite live up to its cover. but that's okay, because even if it's a little unpolished and not as queer as you'd like it to be, it's still really neat in a lot of ways
