Ratings & Reviews

  1. Richmond Hill's rating of the film The Strange Affliction of Anton Bruckner

A somewhat intimate approach - probably budgetary constraints - to a composer of the sweepingly grandiose. Static in places, the film nevertheless plies its narrow trajectory with compassion and understanding.

  2. Matthew Catanzano's rating of the film The Strange Affliction of Anton Bruckner

Great story! He was extremely religious and only composed for Jesus, yet his music was thought of as Satanic. An introverted obsessive person, who was always blissful, contented to be alone and had a great deal too much going on in his OWN world to ever pay any mind to other's perceptions. For once, a film about someone who isn't deeply unhappy.
