  1. joseph's rating of the film The Three Musketeers

All for one and one for all! That’s the rallying cry of the Musketeers—guards of the French King—and the call to adventure for young readers enjoying their first taste of Dumas’ classic swashbuckler. Aramis, Athos, Porthos, and the not-quite-yet Musketeer D’Artagnan use their wits and their swords to battle an evil Cardinal, the traitorous Milady, and other enemies of the French court.

  2. AKFilmFan's rating of the film The Three Musketeers

While the switching of tones is off-putting it was a wise decision; it allows the film from becoming only a period comedy or straight-forward adventure flick. The fight scenes and Kelly's (Fairbanks inspired) performance help make this a rousing adventure.

  3. chanandre's rating of the film The Three Musketeers

Not as light as one might think.Highlights: The death of Lana Turner (1); the greatness of the 1st sword-fighting sequence(2); the superbness of Gene Kelly(3)[jumping over a tree branch & landing gracefully, like a feather]; Fleur de Lis tattoo (4); the death of Constance (5)(delightful June Allyson); D'Artagnan peeking at Constance(6); Keenan Wynn saying "he rolls good"(7) & throwing the landlord over the stairs(8).
