Frank Martin puts the driving gloves on to deliver Valentina, the kidnapped daughter of a Ukranian government official, from Marseilles to Odessa. En route, he has to contend with thugs who want to intercept Valentina’s safe delivery and not let his personal feelings get in the way of his objective.
This film is not currently playing on MUBI but 30 other great films are. See what's now showing
So astonishingly bad that it really doesn't deserve 420 words. Olivier Megaton ("Colombiana"), joke name aside, is surely the most inadequate filmmaker to come out of Luc Besson's stable. He can't seem to direct action sequences to save his life - a big problem considering the genre he operates in. Even if you're curious, just let Frank Martin ride off into the sunset with "Transporter 2." You'll thank me later.
I know I'm probably alone in this because this was my favourite of the three 'Transporter' films. Granted, it has the least well edited and directed action scenes of the three, which is a shame because Cory Yuen choreographed them and Statham does most of his own stunts, so there's no reason for editing them like that. But Tarconi gets a bigger role (and he's a great character) and there are some great one liners.
This is another decent action entry into this franchise and they really should have stopped with this one because nobody but Statham is The Trabsporter. Also this is the best damn commercial Audi ever put out.
What were they thinking??? "I think the blame lies with director Olivier Megaton who seems to not know how to shoot or edit a fight scene to save his life. Seriously, why hire Corey Yuen to do your fight scenes if you are going to cut ever half second? Just a complete mess. The sad part is that nearly 60% of the movie is edited like this"
