such an amazing doc, not only for the substance, which granted while not exactly unknown it is miles away from popular accepted or taught history, but also in form. Taking a page from Capra, stones obliterates the burns paradigm of historic doc film making into a new and exciting frontier that is hopefully influential going forward.
Most Americans aren't emotionally prepared to handle the truths of this documentary. Either that, or they take immense pleasure in their murderous government's history. Oliver Stone as narrator is a bit sleepy, and the volume is so low, the speaking so lackadaisically read, you can't hear or follow him sometimes.
